Casino is seeking a vivacious, passionate leader for the Service Director position. Located in the Lower East Side, just seconds away from Cervo’s, Little Canal, Forgetmenot, Corner Bar and Le Dive, we operate in the thick of a bustling neighborhood. Casino is a fun, elegant, and classic New York restaurant serving European cuisine with a focus on coastal Italian fare. We focus on thoughtful, intuitive service in an environment that is eclectic and alive.
The service director will work closely with the Owner, Executive Chef and General Manager to set, meet and exceed the goals for the business whilst ensuring alignment with the spirit and values of the company. The service director must possess strong leadership skills, a dynamic personality, and a passion for delivering consistent, thoughtful interactions.

Balance day-to-day operational and administrative responsibilities with personal interactions with staff and guests alike.
Write and maintain the staff schedule.
PREREQUISITES:
2 years of leadership in casual and fine dining settings.
Proficient knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software.
Fluency in food and beverage, with an emphasis on old-world wine.
Positive attitude and good team building skills.
Skill and desire to problem-solve, maintain, and improve upon systems.
Must have a Food Handlers Certificate or obtain one within a month of starting.
Ability to analyze P & L reports, identify actionable information and act upon it.
