The Operations Supervisor assists in supervising the front desk operations and hotel / campground staff. This position enforces policies and procedures and establishes a positive work environment. .
We are currently looking for a : Adventureland Inn - Operations Supervisor
Roles & Responsibilities : Roles & ResponsibilitiesHandles guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
Handles guest check ins / check outs in accordance with hotel credit / cash handling policies in an efficient and friendly manner, Cancels room reservations according to proceduresResponsible for assisting in interviewing and hiring of hotel operations staff and campground staffSupervises hotel staff and campground staff and work during shifts ensuring shift check lists are completedRuns accurate room status reports and relays necessary information to affected departments and individualsAssists in revenue management of the hotel and campgroundResponds to guest questions regarding the hotel.
Knows the lay out of the hotel including all suites and all outlet locations and hours of operation. Resolve customer complaints;
assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, etc.
Manage and train the desk staff, night audit and all reservation desk team members.Ensure the staff provides professional and friendly service for customers as gauged by service scores / surveys and online reputation postingsOversee the ongoing training and development of staff in life safety, billing, emergency situations, guest service concerns, complaintsScheduling staff rotations, prevention of overtime, labor percentage controls, etc.
Managing OTA information including answering questions in extranetsPerform other duties as directed by Director of Lodging or Resort General ManagerParticipates in Manager on Duty program as scheduled by Director of LodgingRequirementsMust be able to reach, bend, kneeling, lifting up to 50 poundsWalking and / or standing for long periods of timeProficient computer skills (i.
e. typing, data entry, etc.)Flexible scheduling, open availabilityEducation :
High School education or equivalent experience.Languages :
Fluent EnglishSkills : Customer service must have strong hospitality skills including, interacting with guests, responding professionally to guest questions and concerns, and completing guest requests in a timely manner.

Communication Verbal, written, and listening skills are extremely important in this role.Team Work - must be a team player and help to build positive work relationships that are necessary to meet business objectives.
