PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Direct, Distributions and Services Sales Territory

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

  • Facilitate technical guidance to end-user consumers within specified key industries to help reduce the high cost of wear and equipment failure
  • Provide support and training to distributors in the territory
  • Visit existing accounts to support their business
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts based on activity within the designated territory
  • Supported by telephone marketing, create new business within defined strategic industries
  • Communicate and demonstrate (if applicable) new products and promotions to customers
  • Maintain and grow sales in existing customers (customer retention)
  • Prospect for new customers / acquiring new accounts / Cold Calling - Sales Hunter
  • Provide, with the assistance of the technical support group, service, and technical support to existing customers.
  • Coordinate requests for information or quotations
  • Manage approval projects for new technologies and applications to current and prospecting customers.
  • Develop a territory plan
  • Propose and implement marketing strategies in the territory
  • Ensure continuous improvement and sharing of technical knowledge, competitive and product information, and methods
  • Maintain key information in our internal CRM system
  • Other tasks as defined

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-5 years of Consultative selling experience using the following techniques: active listening, collaborative problem solving, consensus building, and project management.
  • Industrial experience necessary to contribute to the continued success of this rapidly expanding company.

  • Customer-driven and results-oriented.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • A basic knowledge of welding/welding distribution, wear mechanisms, and maintenance & repair welding
  • Target-minded people that are driven to succeed; thrive under pressure and enjoy setting and achieving goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and versatile
  • High level of integrity and commitment to serving clients
  • Microsoft Office: Word /Excel/PowerPoint
