What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Coordinator position at Catapult Greater Pittsburgh?
Job Purpose: To manage the process of collecting and analyzing data to use in identifying trends of Catapult Greater Pittsburgh’s work in the community. Provide leadership with valuable information to utilize with programmatic decision making and to generate effective data-based presentations to share with donors and other stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
· Manage the relationship and effectively work with partner organizations who assist with research and data collection/analysis
· Identify, gather, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and provide accurate, data driven insights
· Use data to highlight successes, point out issues, trends, patterns and correlations with respect to client results and organization programming.
· Make data and insights accessible through easy-to-understand graphs, diagrams, charts, tables, and reports.
· Prepare reports
· Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining organization processes and/or programming
· Monitor data quality and removes corrupt data
· Maintains data integrity on all catapult platforms
· Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and organization requirements
· Performs special projects as needed

· Demonstrated, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to pay attention to detail when working with data in order to make accurate conclusions and predictions.
- Skilled in predictive analytics
- The capacity to work with large amounts of data, extract relevant information and draw logical conclusions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong IT and mathematical skills
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
- Knowledge of relevant relational databases
- Skilled in Interpersonal Intelligence
- Skilled with Emotional Intelligence
- Sales Force certification a plus
Experience/Education Requirements:
· A degree in a quantitative field, mathematics, computer science, physics, economics, engineering, statistics, operations research, quantitative social science, etc.).
· Basic Knowledge of software development principles and architecture.
· Ability to break down and understand complex business problems, define a solution and implement it using advanced quantitative methods.
· Familiarity with programming for data analysis; ideally Python, SQL, or R.
· Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Knowledge of any relational database such as My SQL.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer in an office environment.
· Hearing and vision must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties.
· Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.

Willing to negotiate salary based on experience.
