Join the Catapult Learning team this summer and make a significant impact by ensuring a smooth onboarding process for our summer school staff in New York. As a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in welcoming new hires and assisting with the hiring process. This temporary full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to our educational mission and make a difference in the lives of students.
How you’ll support the team:
Be their guide, facilitator, and first point of contact.
This role is perfect for someone with HR/onboarding experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and excels in communication. At Catapult Learning, you'll use your skills to streamline the onboarding process, making it a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires.
Support Effective Onboarding
- Assist with HR, onboarding, and hiring processes, including managing I-9 and E-Verify.
- Utilize HR systems such as JobVite, SharePoint, UltiPro, and Microsoft Office suite effectively.
- Manage data entry, credential verification, reference, and background checks.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the hiring team and new hires.
- Enhance HR Operations
- Employ organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient HR processes.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for various administrative tasks.
- Exhibit attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience with JobVite/UltiPro and familiarity with the education industry.
What we’ll need from you:
- At least two years of administrative experience required.
- Strong organizational customer service and communication skills a must.
- Must work well under pressure, take initiative, and work independently.
- Strong writing skills are required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Must have strong attention to detail and desire to work in fast paced environment.
- Need to be flexible and meet deadlines.
Compensation: $25/ hourly
