Jail Services Coordinator

Description: This position will oversee CVH’s Jail Services Programs within Catawba, Lincoln or Burke County Detention Centers and Transitional Housing program. Supervision provided.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage day to day staff schedules, host weekly team meetings, provides clinical supervision to direct reporting staff.
  • Manage collection of data to be reported back to grant funders.
  • Maintain positive relationships with jail Administration and other staff in each location. They will coordinate the needs of each facility regarding our services and facilitate changes as needed.
  • Act as CVH representative in various outside programs that parallel CVH Jail Services (i.e. Recovery Court, Veteran’s Court etc.)
  • Coordinate referrals and other ways CVH Jail Services can support partner programs.

Position Requirements:

Current state licensure (LCSW, LCAS, LCMHC or other)

Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field

Prior experience working with individuals with both serious mental illness and/or substance use in jail settings.

Experience working with a variety of evidenced based practices for both clinical work and supervision.

Strong computer skills

Knowledge/skill in the use of various computer software, (e.g., Microsoft products- Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), Electronic Health Records and others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Master's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Practices for both clinical work and: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Current state licensure (LCSW, LCAS, LCMHC or other) (Required)
