About the role
We are looking for a Workday Specialist to join our HRIS team to play a key role in optimizing and expanding our HR processes.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and configuration of all modules within our Workday (HR) system which includes active modules in HCM Core such as Compensation, Absence, Performance Management and Advanced Compensation.

What you’ll do
- Handling and maintaining regular Workday issues and “quick fix” process enhancements. We call this our Business as Usual.
- Supporting and/or leading Workday related projects. Think of, for example, implementing a new functionality, shaping a redesign, innovating current configuration or performing a large data migration or cleanup. Keep stakeholders on track, organized and aligned towards your project goal.
- Train and Support key stakeholders such as your direct People colleagues and Managers to enable them to make optimal use of the Workday functionalities.
- Collaborating with and learning from your key stakeholders within the People team and the business to gain a deep understanding of our HR processes and the Catawiki business. Together we work on the growth of the organization and the overall people experience on a daily basis.
- Exploring and reviewing new functionality of Workday to check we are making the best use of all that Workday has to offer.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy within the Workday system is in place.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 2 years functional configuration experience with the Workday HCM Module;
- Knowledge of the Workday HCM Core, business process framework, reporting and security model;
- Preferably experienced (or interested in) Absence, Reporting & Dashboarding and/or Performance Management;
- You often work on multiple priorities at the same time. You know how to add structure and how to prioritize in a dynamic environment;
- You are process oriented and tech savvy. You aim to make Workday processes as efficient, automated and self-service as possible;
- Ability to translate business problems into technological solutions and the other way around;
- You are accurate, analytical, proactive and have strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Workday certification(s) are preferred but not required.
