As a Program Specialist you will complete complex programs or multiple projects with limited scope and provide Project leadership in the management and development and updates of strategic sourcing moves on current production material. You will be accountable to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time, within budget and scope while leading and motivating people and encourage teamwork. The ability to communicate effectively with senior management, and a clear vision of what determines a successful projects or programs for the customer and for the company is necessary.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may Include, but are not limited to:
Manage Strategic Sourcing moves within the Supply Base
Project Scope: Quote, Tooling, Sample Development, Validation, into Production Readiness,
Lead Project Scope with cross functional team (Accounting, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality)
Develop and produce program and/or project management schedules
Prepare / Present Business Case for sourcing change approval, as well as Production Readiness Approval
Ability to escalate appropriately to maintain project schedule and deliverables
Basic Qualifications:
College Degree required
Project Management Experience in manufacturing environment (NPI, Sourcing, Product Launch)
Strong Analytic skills, as well as ability to interact appropriately at all levels of organization
8 years of relevant experience is desired
Strong project management, team leadership skills
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Iron Casting or Machined Iron Casting Experience
Commercial Buyer Experience
Process Control Engineer / Supplier Development Engineer
Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask effectively
