Career Area: Manufacturing & Supply Chain Job Description: Benefits Information: $1,000 sign on bonus, split into two separate payments of $500 each. First pay out after 30 days of employment and second payout after 90 days of employment. Retention bonus opportunities as well. The payout of both the sign on bonus and retention bonus will be based on acceptable performance and attendance This is a supplemental position located at the Solar manufacturing facility located in Channelview, TX No relocation package is available Health, dental, vision, & basic life insurance offered on day 1 of employment Potential base salary increases from annual performance reviews Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Comply with all of TurboFab’s Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and Guidelines. Check own work for compliance to specifications. Use all necessary equipment and tools required to perform work. Ensure that procedures have been followed and quality has not been compromised. Must keep all areas clean and orderly; and comply with TurboFab’s housekeeping procedures. Must follow the Air Testing procedures. Must test for leaks, clean the bases, do minor paint touch ups, prepare the bases for shipment or transfer, rig, lift and load bases to trucks using overhead cranes, as required. Support stud welding process Required Qualifications: This position is for Air Testers and requires minimum supervision to perform the job. Must exhibit the skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner. Ability to read and write. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to work well with others. Ability to use tools required for the job. Skilled and certified on use of overhead crane as well as application and use of lift rigging. Skilled and certified on forklift. Ability to read and interpret layout drawings for location of components Perform grinding, drilling, tapping operations. Schedule flexibility for day/night shift.
