We are looking for a dynamic Business Process Engineer to join our team! With the guidance and direction of the Project Manager and/or Senior Business Process Engineer, the Business Process Engineer will lead efforts to identify internal and/or client stakeholder opportunities for improvement and redesign/recreate and implement new processes to ensure higher productivity.
The successful candidate for the Business Process Engineer role should be able to demonstrate the following by the end of their introductory 90 days:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Knowledge Management processes, workflows, and deliverables
- Become entirely up to speed on the current initiatives falling within the Knowledge Management project
- Ability to fully manage assigned projects/tasks and assist cross-functional development
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, gather data, and develop process models
- Using various tools and techniques such as process mapping, value stream analysis, and statistical analysis to identify areas of improvement
- Developing and implementing process improvement plans and standard operating procedures.
- Partnering with leadership to train new processes and monitor performance to ensure sustained improvement
- Leading and supporting project efforts that include the analysis, design, development, and implementation of diverse processes and application systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
- Analyzing the client’s business requirements, identifying gaps or discrepancies, and following up as needed to eliminate these gaps
- Building relationships across the organization to understand the direction better and identify future client solutions and business needs
- Refining process map and procedures/process steps
- Efficiently communicating and corresponding with internal/external stakeholders
- Collaborating with internal/external clients on changes to deliverables
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Deep understanding of business processes and process improvement methodologies
- Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of process documentation and analysis
- Experience with process mapping, process improvement methodologies, and process modeling software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite; specifically MS Visio, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate proficiently both verbally and written to all levels of client leadership
- Project Management skills to plan, execute and monitor process improvement initiatives with the guidance and direction of a Project Manager and/or Senior Business Process Engineer
- Analytical skills to evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to address process inefficiencies
- Communication skills to communicate effectively, verbally and written, with stakeholders at all levels of the hierarchy
- Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues that may arise during process improvement initiatives
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
