We are looking for a dynamic Power BI Developer to join our team! The successful candidate will contribute to the creation of impactful reports and dashboards for customer review. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI and Power BI Report Builder, focusing on extracting and visualizing data from Azure SQL databases.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using data from Azure SQL databases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations
- Utilize Power BI Report Builder to create pixel-perfect, paginated reports for customer review
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing Power BI reports to enhance performance and user experience
- Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure seamless integration and reliability of data sources
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout the reporting process
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and incorporate new features and technologies into Power BI solutions
- Meet production targets by delivering a minimum of 15 reports for customer review per week
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development
- Proven expertise in creating reports using Power BI Report Builder
- Strong proficiency in extracting and transforming data from Azure SQL databases
- Experience with data modeling, DAX, and M query languages within Power BI
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet the weekly production targets
