What will you be doing in your role?
- Conduct monthly analysis of partner financial trends, including potential overspending and shifts in cost per client.
- Complete all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and agency quality assurance standards.
- Know and understand partner financial structures, including budget, revenue, expenses and ensure your financial statements reflect accurate data.
- Be responsive to financial requests from partners and team members and answer questions in a timely manner.
- Assist in financial monitoring of partners, in close coordination with the Monitoring and Compliance Specialist and the Finance Manager.
- Continuously seek increased understanding of federal regulations and the potential impact on the State Refugee Coordinator’s Office and partner financial operations.
Are you the next TXOR Staff Accountant?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with two years of experience OR a combination of some education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Sage MIP and ADP preferred

- Full-time salaried position with a starting range of $48,000- $51,000. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
