Drivers - Saxman-Ketchikan Senior Center

Southeast Senior Services in Saxman and Ketchikan is seeking two Drivers to drive the Paratransit van for the Saxman-Ketchikan Senior Center. Drivers provide transportation to seniors and persons with disabilities. Job duties include assisting passengers in and out of vehicles, providing door to door assistance, delivering meals to homebound seniors, maintaining safety and cleanliness of vehicle, recording rides, mileage, and transportation records, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Have an Alaska driver’s license and a good driving record for the past 18 months with no DUI or reckless driving for the past three years.
  • Experience working with senior citizens and/or persons with disabilities is preferred.
  • Background check required.
  • Pre-employment and random drug tests required


One position is full time, 37.5 hours/week. One position is part time, 12 hours/week. Starting wage $18/hour.
