Overview
We are seeking a Laundry Aide for our long term care facility.
Schedule includes This is a 56 hr a pay period, week day and every other weekend position. Hours are 6:00am-1:30pm.

About our community
Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.
Responsibilities
- Gather linen from designated areas, transport to laundry in covered cart
- Sort and weigh linen in specified area of laundry. Load linen into proper washer.
- Start washer; monitor water temperature to assure it remains between 160 degrees to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Load clean linen in dryer, regulating drying time and temperature.
- Fold and place dry linen on clean linen cart.
- Distribute clean linen to each floors’ linen supply room.
Qualifications
- Have the ability to work independently and dependably to maintain the cleanliness of the common areas and resident living areas.
- Reading, writing and speaking English is a requirement of the position.
