Job Summary:
Cat-I Glass is searching for an experienced Accountant with manufacturing experience to oversee fiscal processes and records to prepare general ledger accounts, audit reports, and schedules to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable
- Familiar with manufacturing and GAAP
- Financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Advise on how to reduce costs and increase profits
- Compile and present financial and budget reports
- Comply with internal audit requirements
- Oversee activities and review monthly financials of the Accounting department
- Prepare closing schedules for Accounting and act as a liaison between the department and executive management
- Assist in preparation of documents to meet standards and comply with laws, regulations, and company policies
- Respond to requests from executives/Board
- Balance and prepare monthly bank statement
- Standardize and streamline the flow of accounting tasks
- Perform other duties assigned

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree related to Finance or Accounting, preferred
- 8 years of accounting experience
