Title: Sales Counselor FLSA: EXEMPT Shift: Full TimeJob Summary:Responsible for assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing in acquiring and managing short-term and long-term leads. Handling telephone, walk-in and inbound mail inquiries; qualifying prospects, converting qualified leads to tours; converting tours to deposits, and assisting with move-ins in accordance with established procedures Achieves and maintains budgeted occupancy by generating leads, qualifying prospects, effective prospecting, community tours, and closing sales Follows the organized sales and marketing approach established by the Director of Sales and Marketing to effectively move prospects through the sales process to achieve budgeted occupancy targets As assigned, serve as a liaison for residents and family members new to the Community. Work to ensure that all new residents have a smooth transition by creating welcome signs; introducing the new resident to key Community staff; new residents on the Community’s emergency call system; and any other tasks assigned. Aid residents and their family members with the adjustment to the facility Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately. Assist with the setting-up and tearing down of special event Develops active referral base within the community by making personal visits and sponsoring networking functions at the community Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) Prior experience in marketing, sales, advertising, and client experience preferred Telephone sales experience preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data Excellent writing/communication skills Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel) Experience with database or customer relationship management software preferred Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Benefit & Perks:Robust benefit plan offerings including Medical (PPO and HAS Plans), Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, HSA, FSA, etc. Employer paid Short Term/ Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program 401(k) plan with employer match Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Company paid continuing education - 4 hours of “CARES Dementia Basics” and 4 hours of “CARES Dementia-Related Behaviors.
