Primary Focus
The Data Engineer will drive the functional and technical design of the native HANA and reporting solution. All duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse Holdings.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare functional and technical documentation to configure the solution using Power BI
- Develop HANA Objects, Power BI Reports/Dashboards, Code Reviews, Unit Testing and Integration Testing of developments, and Deployment of objects in a production environment.
- Own the end-to-end data integration aspect of the solution including reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Minimum Skills:
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of database technologies and management system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as work with in a team.

Working Conditions
- Professional remote office environment
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
- Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
- Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines.
- Ability to perform administrative duties for an extended period of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of the duties.
- May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
