Position Purpose: This role is intended as a temporary position with the potential for full-time employment based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Call Management: Handle incoming and outgoing calls, accurately document interactions using CRM, and ensure proper coding and logging.
- Appointment & Transportation Coordination: Assist members, providers, and KHS departments with scheduling medical appointments and arranging transportation.
- Issue Resolution: Collaborate with members and providers to resolve healthcare service concerns and identify, investigate, and report issues to management.
- Communication: Use effective communication techniques to foster positive relationships with members, providers, and other KHS departments.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports through appropriate administrative channels.
- Documentation: Draft simple letters, memos, confidential reports, and complete standard forms based on received information.
- Customer Service: Answer phones within a specified timeframe while maintaining high-quality customer service.
- Training Support: Assist the Member Services Trainer in onboarding new Member Services Outreach Specialists.
- Office Equipment: Operate office machines including copiers, fax machines, and multi-line telephone systems.
- Project Assistance: Support management and other departments with special projects as needed.
- Compliance: Follow all company policies and procedures related to employment and job responsibilities.
- Punctuality & Attendance: Maintain consistent punctuality and attendance as a key requirement of the role.
Day-to-Day Work
