Job Summary:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will plan and execute local marketing initiatives on regional and store levels. This person will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement local initiatives, events, content, and promotional efforts. The goal of this position is to reach new consumers, drive sales and bring awareness to our brand in the Texas region. In this role, you will work across departments and collaborate with our regional managers, area managers, and stores with the goal of growing our brand through social media, guidance, and resources, and implementation of both local and regional marketing initiatives.
About you:
- You will work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and some holidays, and excel with autonomy.
- Experience selling to a customer base is a must, experience in the beverage industry, hospitality, and nightlife.
- Ability to create and maintain external relationships. Including local partnerships, local venues, vendors, charities, local influencers, etc.
- Have a working knowledge of retail marketing with an understanding of brick and mortar store dynamics and what it takes to create an impact with customers.
- Ability to create briefs for local marketing campaigns including store openings, events, store-level initiatives, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects while remaining highly collaborative, positively influence all functions of the organization, and clearly understand roles and responsibilities.
- Ability to adapt to change and assume added responsibilities; continuously work to upgrade knowledge and skills through available reading, courses, and seminars.
- Able to work independently as well with a team in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Effective communicator who can gather relevant information through interactions with team members in stores
- Possess a skill set for research and monitoring industry trends
- Must be at least 21 years of age to satisfy the responsibilities of this job
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Some travel required
