cBEYONData is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Enterprise Architect to join our team in support of a multi-year SAP S/4 HANA modernization effort for a federal customer. The focus across the broader program includes IT transformation, leveraging subject matter experts to transform business processes, requirements development, change management and human-centered design, among other IT modernization programmatic activities. This individual will oversee a team of up to 7 enterprise architects supporting senior government architects and government subject matter experts, industry, and vendor representatives to develop architecture artifacts and models through the re-engineering of Department of Defense Business processes. This role will require the candidate to possess project and team management skills, clear and direct communication to their team as well as the ability to communicate and brief the status of their teams' project into agile ceremonies and other leadership forums.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a remote team of up to 7 skilled professionals.
- Interview and hire candidates to fill open positions within the team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow in a remote environment.
- Directs and participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation and development
- Responsible for working with supporting architects to update Capability Process Map Diagram (CPMD OV-5b.f), Operational Activity Catalog (OV-5a), Information Exchange Requirements (OV-3) and performers
- Will support capability definition, design analysis, implementation, and integration of a solution within the target architecture
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business objectives and strategies and ensure the IT system architecture aligns and fully supports those objectives and strategies
- Manage enterprise architecture repository to ensure models and objects adhere to project standards and methods
- Participate in workshops with stakeholders to understand the client’s business landscape
- Develop future state process models (OV-6cs) for the delivery segment
- Part-time on client site may be required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 6 years of experience in similar role
- 5 or more years of experience leading a team
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience working with DoD
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture or information modeling frameworks and techniques
- Strong soft skills leading small groups of architects and practitioners, communication with functional and technical experts, and demonstrated ability building consensus
- Experience using enterprise architecture tools (e.g. ARIS)
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
- Project management experience with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Customer serving personality with the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Attention to detail, particularly with data quality
