Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Understand client needs and offering personal insurance solutions and support
- Customize insurance programs to meet the needs of potential clients
- Prepare applications and necessary documents for new business opportunities
- Present and deliver information to potential clients
- Ability to resolve potential client issues and concerns
- Setup new business accounts and be the assigned Account Manager once the account has been bound
- Work with Commercial Production teams to proactively identify and act on cross-serve opportunities
- Deliver exceptional client service to clients and colleagues
- Build effective relationship Responsible for quoting, binding and servicing new and existing accounts
- Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry/market expertise
- Support, maintain and manage a book of business
- Stay abreast of changes in the clients' lifestyle that impact coverage
- Review client exposures and current coverage to recommend appropriate products and services
- Provide proactive day-to-day service; anticipating and evaluating the clients' need and propose a variety of solutions to manage the clients' risk
- Respond to client questions and issues timely and accurately
- Conduct client advisory reviews
- Accountable for client retention through delivery of exceptional client service
- Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to provide coverage options for clients and prospects
- Communicate clients' risk solution and binding instructions to carriers
- Utilizes Sagitta and ImageRight to enter and maintain all client information in an accurate and timely manner
- Rounding accounts to ensure the client has a well-rounded insurance program
- Escalate internal and external service concerns that clients may be experiencing to appropriate team members/leaders for action and prevention of further client impact
- Maintain appropriate insurance license
- Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- More than 5 years customer service experience in the insurance industry required
- Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Advanced customer service skills
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
