We are looking for a full-time, on-site Account Manager to help our team continue to grow and give our clients the gold standard of customer service that we are known for. Responsibilities:
Supports Account Management team in daily tasks and projects including client and carrier communication, renewing client benefits, and assisting in the open enrollment process for key clients
Assist with calls and email communication for questions regarding plan benefits in medical, dental, and vision insurance
Manage the enrollment process for clients by entering enrollments, creating proposals, and submitting information to the insurance carriers
Assist with compliance by requesting information from insurance carriers and providing documents to the clients
Ability to work with the insurance carriers to manage the electronic data interchange (EDI) feeds for clients using our enrollment systems
Assist in managing client relationships for company executives' block of business
Necessary Skills:
2 years of similar or related experience in an office setting (insurance or healthcare experience preferred)
Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2-4 years of experience in a related field
Experience with MS Office Products: Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Word is mandatory
Detail-oriented and the ability to proof your own work
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work one-on-one with clients
Ability to manage your workload and be a self-starter without constant supervision
Team player and ability to work well with clients and co-workers
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working on multiple projects simultaneously
Work Environment:
Office hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Professional business dress is required Monday-Thursday
