Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the responsibilities of all employees.
- Manage employees’ hours to the set schedule and store operation budget.
- Work closely with store vendors and promote monthly sales and specials.
- Train, motivate, mentor, and develop store level personnel within the store.
- Build an atmosphere which demonstrates pride in teamwork and in serving the customer.
- Responsible for safeguarding the store, cash, and inventory control.
- Adhere to all city, county, state, and federal alcohol and tobacco regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely as per company standards.
- Complete all other store tasks and activities assigned by your Store Manager in a prompt, cooperative, and enthusiastic manner.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Preferred minimum of 3 years in convenience store, retail, or truck stop industry.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Strong work ethic and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Must have the ability to read and write English language and perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Ability to operate computer programs to complete associate and management tasks.
