Sales Representative

Position Summary: Sales Representative

The basic function of this position is to enhance company value through unprecedented communication and analytical skills. The primary objective: sell the company’s products and services to the end user.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Cross-selling products and services to the existing customer base.
• Grow the company’s recurring monthly revenue by demonstrating a mastery of the company’s products and services to establish new clients.
• Site surveys to generate quotes for clients.
• Develop scope of work based on site survey.
• Sales presentations for clients.
• Communicate with the service team to deliver a seamless transition from sales to operations for the client.
• Must ensure customer satisfaction and a positive customer experience.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience):

• High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Must demonstrate technical knowledge of the following systems: fire alarm, intrusion alarm, access control, video surveillance, low voltage systems, installation, testing, and inspection.
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Must be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.
• Must have strong presentation skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Work Environment:

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Normal office/field environment.
• Construction sites, commercial and state buildings.
• Must be able to work extended hours to support business requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
• Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
• Use vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
• Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
• Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work a full-time schedule with on-call availability; Must be able to travel on short notice.
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,568.00 - $52,000.00 per year
