What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Director of Operations position at CCH Healthcare?
CCH Healthcare is looking for a Regional Operations Director to manage Licensed Nursing Home Administrators and multiple long-term care facilities in the greater Cincinnati area. RDOs are responsible for census growth and achieving company goals, employee relations and making sure company policies and standards are being met by each facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Increasing census growth at each facility
- Making sure the residents receive the highest level of care and meets company standards
- Oversees orientation of new Administrators and their ongoing growth
- Establishes performance plans for all Administrators that reflect the expectations for performance consistent with desired operations results.
- Overseeing federal and state surveys
- Ensures that facility risk management strategies are in place, fully executed, and monitored
- Participates in budget planning
- Reviews financial performance of facilities with the Administrator
- Ensures that company goals and programs are executed at the facility level according to company standards
- Ensures the facilities are maintained according to company standards.
- Other job duties may be assigned
Requirements:
- Active LNHA License
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Administrator in the long-term care setting. Experience in Senior Living Facility management is preferred
- Experience in a multi-site management position
- Demonstrated leadership skills necessary to create business plans and set goals necessary to maintain company growth
- Consistent travel
- Must be able to work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
