We are seeking an Application Specialist to develop and maintain application software solutions in support of business needs.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver application solutions to enable business users’ easier access to data, reports, and to encourage adoption of new business processes.
  • Develop and monitor data integrations within the application tools.
  • Alert and collaborate with the Data Services team on data integration errors, data availability or other issues.
  • Participate and understand potential performance impact of product changes and help to ensure performance is maximized.
  • Develop and maintain a strong rapport with business users, product owners and SME’s.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure changes to existing systems will meet business process needs.
  • Participate in efforts to ensure adherence to security and governance policies, including conducting audits.
  • Participate in requirement gathering, analysis and implementation of new business process for assigned products and applications.
  • Participate in business solution development for assigned products and applications.
  • Participate in educating business users on security and compliance for assigned systems and products.

Serve as a support, training, and demonstration resource to business users for assigned systems, solutions, and products.

  • Participate in collecting all applicable value assessment metrics before and after solution is delivered.
  • Ensure confidentiality of company information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


Skills we are looking for

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience with either business process improvement or an application development tool.
  • Experience with Microsoft office tools.
  • Experience with QuickBase or similar application software preferred.
  • Certification in QuickBase App Builder and Power Apps preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience with business process improvement, documentation and applying security and governance in development.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to effectively communicate both written and verbal, prepare reports and plans.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sudden priority shifts and be able to switch tasks easily without gaps in productivity and with an understanding attitude.
  • Willingness to learn; adapts and accepts increased responsibility.
  • Highly responsible, resourceful, accurate, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Leadership with skills to positively influence others, collaborate with teammates, communicate on the level of others, listen, and understand people in circumstances common in the workplace.
  • The ability to embrace corporate values, understands the company mission, and exemplifies CCI leadership behaviors.


Shift is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexibility to work outside of those hours as needed.
