We are seeking a Business Analyst to learn and understand current business processes, systems, and technology and assist in improving processes and analyzing data. You will be responsible for gathering user requirements and documenting current state business processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of the overall process of Business Units within CCI to provide support for data analysis and assist in streamlining processes and procedures.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies with a drive for complete understanding.
- Support business process improvement initiatives by documenting current and future state, requirements gathering for support of all assigned projects.
- Document business process workflows to be used for development of process improvements.
- Collaborate with Systems Analysis team to determine feasibility of complex development requests.
- Collaborate with business unit subject matter experts (SME’s) and stakeholders to gain understanding of business processes and projects.
- Communicate with internal data stewards, system owners, and external vendors to gather documentation for enterprise architecture team.
- Develop and maintain a strong rapport with business users, product owners, developers, SME’s, stakeholders, management, and IAS team members.
- Serve as a training and demonstration resource to business users for Scrum Methodology.
- Facilitate project status and communicate between business units and IT.
- Build on personal knowledge base through continued education and training.
- Ensure confidentiality of company information.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Business Analyst Manager.
Who are we looking for?
- Two- or four-year degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting or Management.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other web-based applications.
- Experience with Quickbase, Pivitol Tracker or similar preferred.
- Strong Analytical skills and ability to communicate clearly on technical and business topics.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and prioritize multiple projects or tasks to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and accept increasing responsibility.
- Leadership with skills to positively influence others, collaborate with teammates, communicate on the level of others, listen, and understand people in circumstances common in the workplace.

Shift is full-time, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am – 5pm CST. Must have flexibility and willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed.
