CCIM offers a generous benefits package (detailed below) including vacation and sick time, 3 floating holidays, a birthday holiday, volunteer days, and summer hours from Memorial Day through Labor Day where employees can elect to take either Fridays or Mondays off (paid). Employees are currently working on a hybrid, 2 days/week in the office, schedule.
Your Core Contributions To The Team
- Monitor department phone and ticketing system with solution center team.
- Counsel candidates and designees on applying, attaining, and maintaining membership.
- Answer questions regarding applications for candidacy and designation, programs and policies.
- Review status regarding completion of the education requirements.
- Answer questions regarding member benefits, login issues and website navigation.
- Recommend options for students to satisfy CCIM designation education requirements including Fast Track membership options and sequence of education requirements.
- Proactively monitor the progress of students throughout the designation education process.
- Advise students on commercial real estate education opportunities.
- Identify CCIM education products and services appropriate to the student’s stated interests and background.
- Communicate CCIM’s multiple delivery formats and guides student choice of learning method.
- Assist students with registration for CCIM education programs.
- Provide guidance in course preparation to ensure students are aware of pre-course technology requirements and education pre-study resources.
- Communicate appropriate continuing education credits.
- Oversee member record integrity include address updates, accuracy of course records and transcripts.
- Collaborate with IT staff on membership record updates
- Process membership applications including the following programs:
- Candidate, Designee, Student, Academic-Faculty, Government, Fast Track and University Fast Track.
- Candidate and Designee reinstatement.
- Transfer elective credits.
- Institute Affiliate.
- Life Member, Retired and Leave of Absence.
- RICS.
- Maintain student records for tuition prepaid packages
- Assist designees with Institute Affiliates renewals within NRDS ecommerce.
- Provide backup for membership, courseinfo ecampus, Solution Center and help ticketing categories.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisors.
About You
Knowledge and abilities
- 3 years’ experience in customer service role.
Education, certification, licenses
- Minimum two years of university, community college, or associate degree preferred.
Qualifications and other skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven organization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
- Interacts with a wide variety of people using tact and diplomacy.
- Exercises attention to detail.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Some travel and weekend/overtime may be required.
