What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospital Nursing Administrative Coordinator position at CCM Health?
DEPARTMENT: Hospital Nursing
HOURS: 40 hours per week/Non-Exempt
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Staffing Coordinator performs delegated and independent functions to ensure and support the appropriate scheduling, staffing, and accurate payroll entries for designated personnel. Maintain employee skills validation and training. The position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others. Performs administrative tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and the public.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Take accurate minutes at meetings, maintain records of attendance.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of common office procedures.
- Flexibility to take on new assignments from other departments as needed
- Utilizes AIDET when communicating with others (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank you.)
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two (2) years office experience. Must have experience with staffing and scheduling and able to perform secretarial and clerical duties.
