Job Description
Work with trading partners and internal functional teams to troubleshoot data and mapping issues.
Critically assess and understand the bigger picture, communicating the impact of EDI systems and process changes.
Maintain EDI documentation and monitor daily EDI operations. Research, track and resolve EDI issues.
Analyze transaction files to identity data errors, transmission errors, and mapping errors.
Document the design, technical specs as well as test results.
Use everyday language to communicate effectively with stakeholders who have varying levels of technical understanding and perspective about solutions, limitations and change management.
Troubleshoot complex, unformulated issues and requests where analysis and reasoning skills are necessary to resolve problems in a creative manner. Solutions may span multiple systems with downstream impact to other systems and processes.
Confirm and test system maintenance and upgrades to ensure they do not have adverse impact on the system environment.
Log work time in Jira.
Qualifications :
Previuous experience partnering with key business users and stakeholders.
7 years of professional experience as a Business analyst or related role in supporting EDI project.
Experience with business requirements.
3 years of experience with EDI map development.
Experience with EDI translators and creating, changing, and maintaining maps.
Experience with Gentran and AS400.
Must possess a strong proven, hands-on experience and understanding of different types of EDI formats, such as XML, ANSI X12 and Flat File Layout.
Ability to communicate with technical, non-technical and senior management audiences.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects in various stages of development
Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrates the capacity to manage changing priorities
