CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Position Summary

Mechanical Engineer with 1-5 years of experience in chemical, industrial and commercial facilities. Experience in CAD modeling, P & ID reviews, piping stress analysis a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop equipment specifications and issue design packages with accountability for quality and accuracy of design.

Perform piping and pressure vessel design calculations.

Perform site walkdowns and support other disciplines on detailed engineering projects.

Interact with vendors on equipment specifications, project schedules, and obtain quotes as needed.

Work with Piping Designers when setting equipment plans using AutoDesk, Cadworks or other 2d and 3d modeling.

Qualifications

Knowledge of industry standards from API, ASME, OSHA, and NFPA.

Self-starter, focused, well organized and team orientated.

Software experience: Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft office is required.

Desire to obtain a Professional Engineering license is preferred.

Top 3 Requirements:

Demonstrated expertise in the evaluation and design of Mechanical systems.

Knowledge of AutoCad programs.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
