ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, assignments, and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management.
- Event Management: Collaborating with the global marketing team and segments – this role manages all the planning and execution of our marketing programs at industry conferences, including all logistics, planning, and post-show reviews and deliverables.
- Research and determine alternative event options including presentations, company events, sponsorships and papers.
- Determine possible thought leadership options for interviews, speaking engagements, presentations and articles.
- Social Media: Develop and execute social media campaigns for various business segments, including LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube
- Create and share engaging daily content, including text, images, and videos that promote the company’s brand.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Ensure current social media strategy aligns with company goals and values.
- Measure the success of social media campaigns using KPIs.
- Stay on top of current social media trends and evaluate how the company can best participate.
- Moderate user-generated content for appropriateness
- Assist with basic research and content development.
- Assist with myCECO intranet updates.
- Assist with training programs, including Greenspace and CECO Certified webinars.
- Assist with Graphic Design and other digital needs.
- Assist Marketing team as needed on projects and other priority requests.
- Other job duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business).
- Minimum of 1-3 years marketing experience with emphasis on social media and event management
- B2B experience in the manufacturing, industrial, and/or environmental industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience with digital tools including marketing automation and social tools, basic graphic is highly desired.
- Ability to write exceptionally well, conceptualize, and create/conceptualize compelling visuals.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making skills
