Commercial Program Manager

The commercial program manager works across CEE’s commercial programs to increase savings achievements and is responsible for various operational, program development, and marketing aspects of these programs. This position also has supervisory responsibilities for commercial program staff and reports to the Senior Director of Commercial and Industrial (SDCI) programs. This is a full time position that provides a wide range of benefits including Paid Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, paid parental leave, life and long term disability insurance and a retirement plan.

Responsibilities:

Operations

  • Supervise assigned commercial program staff
  • Lead team meetings and set agendas
  • Track sales pipeline and monitor progress towards goals
  • Work with CEE’s Salesforce lead to design and maintain Salesforce tools/processes
  • Work with CEE’s programming staff to maintain and update program software
  • Perform program planning, budgeting, invoicing, contracting and general program management
  • Meet regularly with utility program managers to provide program updates, coordinate marketing, and manage client relationships
  • Monitor direct install materials inventory

Program development

  • Collaborate with program development to develop new program offerings and services
  • Assist SCDI in evolving and innovating existing program offerings and services
  • Conduct cost-effectiveness analysis for program planning and regulatory filings

Marketing

  • Coordinate with program and marketing teams to:
    • Develop program collateral
    • Advertise programs with emails and mailers
    • Present to cities and associations as needed and in coordination with other program staff
    • Increase cross-promotion of commercial programs
    • Help identify specific program priorities to create and deploy annual marketing plan

Vendor engagement

  • Develop relationships with contractors and distributors to promote CEE’s commercial programs, understand their business models, and increase program participation
  • Ensure that CEE’s programs are routinely communicating with contractors and distributors via all appropriate channels

Other

  • Understand and adhere to corporate policies and procedures, attend trainings as requested, and read corporate wide emails and correspondence.
  • Other duties as assigned or apparent

Qualifications/Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, math, policy, economics, business, or related field required
  • At least three years of experience in the energy efficiency industry
  • Ability to effectively manage staff and coordinate team members
  • Project planning, budgeting, and management experience
  • Excellent writing, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills including quantitative analysis are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access)
  • Desire to work for mission-driven, non-profit organization
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; balance and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Primary working hours are during CEE’s business hours but evenings and weekends may be required occasionally.
  • Occasional travel in and out of state required

Depending on experience and qualification , we expect the hiring range for this position would be $75000-$80000/year. 

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
