Responsibilities
• Responsible for processing the US and Puerto Rico payroll• Reviewing and auditing all payroll output for accuracy according to checklists and tolerances• Reviewing and validating all payroll entries made• Processing any adjustments and/or correction of errors found during auditing and ensuring all calculations are accurate• Responsible for the transmission of payroll bank files• Prepare and process off-cycles as needed and according to the off-cycle payroll policy• Work closely with HR Operations and key stakeholders to ensure that all payrolls are delivered on time and accurately for assigned countries and locations• Maintain communications with HR Business Partners in the event of overpayment recoveries, final pay statutes, and any other scenarios affecting regular payment• Drive appropriate and consistent local and regional payroll processes towards standardization• Maintain and expand knowledge of country-specific legislation and compliance• Communicate regularly with team members and lead• Work closely with payroll provider ADP to ensure effective payroll service delivery• Collaborate in driving controls and operational excellence including, but not limited to, segregation of duties, audit and compliance programs• Collaborate in the creation of metrics and higher-level reports• Handle payroll-related case requests within established SLAs• Actively participate in global and local payroll projects as required• Administration of year-end activities related to payroll tax filing and reporting, collaborating with the US Tax Specialist on the US payroll team.• Reports to the Americas Payroll Lead• Any other payroll duty requested by the Americas Payroll Lead
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university with three to five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience with US payroll processing• Experience with payroll transition and implementation desired• Excellent research and problem-solving skills• Flexible, capable to work under fast-paced and high stress environments• Ability to plan, organize, and manage time to meet rigid payroll processing deadlines• Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame and maintain accuracy• Proficient in a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint for Windows• Experience in ADP Global View and ETime• Indispensable oral and written English communication skills• Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work well with others• Willingness to learn and is a fast learner• Location: Mexico City
