What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician, Quality position at Celestica?
- Assists and supports in-process and product first layer assessment
- Performs the activities identified related to the Key process and product characteristics
- Supports the identification and processing of internal non-conforming materials for proper disposition
- Ensures that the implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues are respected in the manufacturing line
- Assists and supports support First Article Assessment activities
- Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality

- Supports the RMA quality related activities
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: - Ability to exercise good judgment in providing quality guidance.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.
- Understanding of quality and manufacturing standards.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and the ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Knowledge of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro, EtQ.
- Skills for evaluating, diagnosing and solving problems encountered in the manufacturing.
- Well organized
