Video Editor (Hybrid)

Location: Franklin Lakes, New JerseyJob Type: Contract to PermCompensation Range: $45 - 50 per hour We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our client's creative team for a 6-month assignment, with the possibility of extending! As a Video Editor, you will collaborate closely with our client's creative team to produce high-quality content for a variety of platforms. The ideal candidate is a versatile creative professional with a strong passion for both video editing and design, eager to seize the opportunity to work for an innovative company in Franklin Lakes, NJ.Responsibilities: Video Editing Edit and assemble video footage into cohesive, high-quality final products. Perform post-production tasks such as color correction, transitions, and video effects. Integrate branded graphics, animations, and text overlays to enhance videos. Collaborate with the creative team to deliver content that aligns with project goals. Manage media files and ensure timely delivery of projects. Learn in-house studio lighting and video recording techniques. Graphic Design Create visually engaging graphics for various media, presentations, and video content. Design layouts and branded materials using Adobe Creative Suite. Stay up-to-date with design trends to produce innovative visual content. Qualifications: Experience level: Experienced Minimum 4 years of experience Proven experience as a video editor and/or graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in both areas. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and audio editing tools (e.g., Audition). Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint). Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with agency or studio environments is a plus. Knowledge of current video and design trends and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: BFA in Film, Graphic Design, or related field. Experience with 3D animation or motion graphics. Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing platforms.
