Marketing Budget Manager (Remote)

Location: Remote within the US, can work PST/CSTJob Type: 10-15 hour a week ongoing contractCompensation Range: $35 - 45 per hour W2Our client, a global energy company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Budget Manager to join their marketing team for a remote, ongoing contract.
As a Marketing Budget Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the inhouse agency budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and supporting the achievement of marketing goals.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a budget operations professional to contribute to the success of a leading global energy company. Responsibilities:Design effective budget models for the agency.Inform and support budget forecasting, tracking, projections, etc.Help design and implement effective budgeting policies and procedures.Gather, understand and effectively navigate budget requirements and reports.Pull budget data from multiple sources to compile data and provide a comprehensive picture for leadership.Suggest spending improvements and efficiencies.Ensure manager remain on budget.Present budget reports and status to agency leadership.Work collaboratively with all respective groups to understand their part in budget spend/utilization for comprehensive reporting.Help inform processes or measures to capture and track budget spend for accurate and timely tracking and reporting.Manage and coordinate month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.Work with finance teams to understand and adhere to accounting policies, procedures and compliance with organizational practices.Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

Qualifications:
