What are the responsibilities and job description for the SOCIAL MEDIA COPYWRITER (REMOTE) position at Cella?
The Social Media Copywriter possesses a social mindset with the ability to write across multiple touchpoints. This is a hands-on role. You’ll develop best-in-class social content for owned social channels that is relevant to a diverse, NextGen audience. To do so, you will need to be a subject matter expert with impeccable communication and follow-through skills to influence and gain alignment with internal teams and stakeholders. You’ll play a lead role helping us develop and maintain the brands’ verbal voice, personality, and overall consistency in social. You will not only concept and write organic content, but also contribute to the brand content calendar. You will partner closely with our Social Media Designers and Brand Engagement team to turn their strategies into posts for followers and fans. At times you will also pitch in on omni channel projects and write across multiple platforms.

Social Media Copywriter Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required:
- BA/BFA Degree or equivalent training in English, journalism, communications, advertising or another
relevant discipline.
- 2 –4 years of experience writing for social media including professional and personal projects.
- A range of professional social media experience including posts for a variety of platforms, different
types of posts, as well as paid ad content for social.
- A portfolio showcasing original, creative social media work and digital content.
- Ability to uphold and evolve our social strategies that define how we attract and engage followers
across channels.
- Thorough knowledge of social media channels and best practices of different platforms, especially
Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
- Ability to write across multiple platforms (ie: banners, email, site)
- A passion for social media as a medium, and a deep curiosity about current trends, new capabilities
and best-in-class work from other brands and individual creators.
- The ability to meet deadlines and tight timelines, and the flexibility to handle the inevitable calendar
shifts of the social environment.
- The drive and ability to create clean, mistake-free copy that’s on-brief and to spec.
- Experience with project management tools.
- A positive attitude and ability to work within a team productively.
Nice to have
- Experience in the Health & Wellness and/or Foods space.
- Ability to create your own influencer style video content.
