What are the responsibilities and job description for the TECHNICAL WRITER/EDITOR position at CELLA?
Our client, a chemicals and materials company, is looking for a Technical Writer/ Editor. This position will be supporting a new project in the company's service area. You would be responsible for part of the domain migration project that will include content migration with new and modified content needs for each storefront migration.
This is a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Edit a variety of content on behalf of the company.
- Manage tasks, edit, proofread, format, and make revisions.
- Communicate professionally to clarify expectations of assignments.
- Use company templates or defined templates as required.
- Review similar pages and recommend how to consolidate content / pages together.
- Experience writing for websites.
- Familiar with SEO to incorporate best practices and guidance from our SEO Manager.
- Ability to ramp up quickly and produce quick and efficiently.
- Ability to navigate (with a project manager) high quantity content development in an agile, sprint fashion and familiar with scrum/sprint framework.
- Ability to function being heads down on a project (experience managing own projects from inception to delivery with minimal oversight).
- Technical Writing background preferred.
- Highly experienced with aggregating existing technical content to craft quality content for the web.
