What are the responsibilities and job description for the People Consultant position at Celonis?
We are looking for a People Consultant to provide functional support to various lines of business, in partnership with HR Business Partners, executing on the overall people strategies and key HR processes and initiatives. The People Consultant will collaborate with managers to provide support regarding a broad range of People activities including performance and talent management, employee engagement, employee relations, manager coaching, training and other areas as assigned.
What you will do:
- Partner with Global HR Business Partners to support talent related processes including performance management and talent management, Support tasks include data compilation, manager education, communications, and tracking of status completion.
- Prepare and analyze people data to develop insights to help shape the people strategy. Provides analytics, trends, feedback and other data to HR Business Partners to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of People programs and processes.
- Help to drive engagement activities, including compiling and distributing engagement survey results. Leads action planning sessions with teams, including compiling & sharing engagement best practices.
- Provide manager coaching on the performance improvement plan process.
- Serve as a resource for managers on People-related questions and issues, providing direction on processes and guiding to appropriate People & Culture contact. Guides the escalation and resolution of questions, issues and requests to the appropriate channels.
- Consult with Celonauts on topics ranging career development, employee engagement, employee relation matters, partner with Employee Relations to handle sensitive issues or to connect employees to the appropriate subject matter expert
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree required, a concentration in Business or Human Resources a plus.
- At least 4 years of experience in an HR role such as an HR generalist, employee relations, training and development, OD/OE, performance management or talent management
- Experience collaborating with business management teams and forging strong relationships.
- Experience with procedures for employee relations, performance and talent management, professional development, training and compensation.
- Experience communicating with impact and utilizing strong collaborating and influencing skills, including delivering presentations and facilitating conversations/workshops.
- High analytical with intermediate excel skills.
- Experience with best practices to support development and execution of HR strategy, policy and practice.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness, ability to take initiative, and think outside the box to develop solutions
- Organized and detail oriented
- Experience with Workday preferred
