At Celtic Chicago, an Account Manager is an expert who helps existing clients maximize their marketing spend. We are seeking a full-time leader in the Client Services team who will manage the planning, budgeting and execution for B2B clients with an ability to present new ideas that affect the client’s success. Curious and marketing savvy, this individual will learn the client’s business to solve their key issues in advertising campaigns and marketing programs. Will have the opportunity to work with a talented creative team to bring campaigns to life. Position requires a self-starter with great organizational skills and persuasive style to work with a cross-discipline team and clients.
Qualifications
- College degree in marketing, advertising or related field
- 6 years’ experience in advertising account oversight
- Strong leadership and verbal skills
- Marketing strategy and planning abilities inclusive of proposal and marketing plan development
- Strong presentation and writing skills
- Efficient time management and organizational skills
- Must have agency experience
Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts including development of strategic marketing plans and budgets, coordinating projects through the agency and delivering the highest quality advertising to clients.
- Manage communication from client to agency personnel including direction, instruction and information to meet client expectations, budgets and deadlines.
- Develop and expand client accounts to uncover new opportunities and foster account growth, extendibility and relevancy.
- Support internal teams to ensure the highest quality execution of marketing tactics.
- Manage billing quotas to ensure the continued growth and strength of the agency.
- Contributes to the effective functioning of the department and the agency.
