Cen-Tex Engineering is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Plumbing Designer to join our fast-growing team. We deliver MEP solutions to enhance the built environment. Projects span across commercial, municipal, and federal for diverse and exciting project mix.
Job responsibilities
- Prepare detailed working diagrams of mechanical and plumbing systems for issuing construction and permit drawings.
- Revise and modify drawings to incorporate field changes, as-builts and design revisions. Documentation of equipment schedules to support design lead.
- Construction administration
Qualifications
- 1 Year minimum experience in Commercial Plumbing or HVAC
- 1 Year minimum experience with AutoCAD
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications & submittals
- Plumbing & HVAC trade knowledge
- Working knowledge of IPC, UPC, IMC, UMC, ASHRAE, and other NFPA codes
- Experience with BIM / Revit
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
