We are looking to fill our vacant Lab Technician position in Anaheim, CA. We would love to speak with you if you:
- Have 1 year of experience as a lab technician working with biological samples
- Have attention to detail and organizational skills
- Can quickly learn and are receptive to training
- Are an effective team player and can communicate effectively
As a Lab Technician, you will perform duties related to handling, processing, storage, destruction, shipping, and tracking of laboratory specimens under IATA guidelines for clinical trial studies under supervision of Laboratory Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Follow laboratory procedures and process all lab samples according to protocol and/or study specific laboratory manual
- Review PK processing, harvest log documents, and shipping manifests
- Collect, label, process and ship clinical laboratory samples as needed
- Prepare collection tubes, vials, study supplies for visits including PK/PD set up
- Ensure proper handling, processing, and shipping of laboratory samples according to protocol, laboratory manual, and IATA specifications
- Monitor biological sample storage temperature.
- Conduct inventory, maintain and notify Laboratory Manager of lab supplies including dry ice, laboratory equipment, and purge expired supplies as needed
- Comply with current protocols, SOPs, GCPs, IRB and FDA guidelines
- Pack and properly label all study materials for storage or return to sponsor upon study close out

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00
