Position Description
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Marketing and Advertising, the Digital Marketing Specialist will take a leading role in the development, creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns and strategies for all program areas and the facility/business itself, as well as management of digital marketing platforms and assets. This may include, but is not limited to, integrated marketing with social media, email, digital displays, (internal) radio, mobile device and web platforms in a variety of ways. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also assist with customer/visitor engagement activities, analysis of digital performance metrics and analytics, and campaign planning. In addition, the Digital Marketing Specialist will also assist in marketing support and outreach activities as necessary, such as photography, video work, tabling, and special event support.

Responsibilities
Core Position Responsibilities:
- Coordination, development/creation, and implementation of multi-platform digital marketing assets and campaigns for programs, initiatives, events, and our business that promote trust, inclusivity, and engagement with our audiences.
- Coordination, development/creation, and execution of multi-platform social media marketing campaigns for program areas, events, and our business including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, to build our online presence via regular engagement activities and customer interactions.
- Coordination, development/creation, and execution of email marketing campaigns and e-blasts for membership communications, programs, events, and operational updates.
- Management of digital platforms and digital marketing assets via platform-specific content management systems (CMS) and internal project management systems.
- Analysis of digital performance metrics and analytics to refine marketing efforts, maximize performance, and improve desired outcome(s). (Some knowledge of this is preferred, but not required.)
- Assist in marketing support and outreach activities as necessary, such as photography, video work, tabling, and special event support.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience and skill with digital marketing strategies, advertising, and/or other related experience.
- Experience with various social media platforms preferred, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, or others.
- Basic knowledge of and skills with good writing and editing, including proper grammar, punctuation, terminology, and tone of voice.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (provided)
- Open, effective and all-around exemplary communication skills
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and tools including, but not limited to, computer software, design and marketing concepts (basic to advanced), and other marketing-related job skills.
- Ability and willingness to be an effective Marketing team member through effective collaboration, leadership, teamwork, and support.
- 10-20 hours/week
