What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level HR Administrative Assistant position at CentiMark Corporation?
CentiMark Corporation, the world leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, has an immediate opening for an (Entry-Level), Administrative Assistant that loves the administrative side of HR including: record keeping and filling. The position is based out of the corporate office, located in SouthPointe, Canonsburg, PA.
This position will be will be responsible for assisting the HR team and our 95 offices located throughout the United States and Canada.
Job Summary:
Handling a variety of HR related duties that include:
- Assisting with the review of New Hire Paperwork to ensure that it is correct and complete
- Building and Maintaining personnel files
- Processing, tracking, auditing and filling various forms associated with HR
- Auditing employee status changes and approving them for processing in our HR/Payroll system
- Screening/forwarding calls, incoming mail and fax distribution
- Preparing correspondence
- Assists with questions/issues for employees at all levels across the organization
- Special projects and other miscellaneous duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working in a multi-tasking environment is a must
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, administrative, analytical, customer service and time-management skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
- Must be a strong team player and a self-starter, with the ability to function independently
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience Desired:
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or currently pursuing a degree preferred
- 1 - 2 years prior experience working in an HR department
- Prior experience completing and auditing I-9’s a plus
- Experience with E-Verify a plus
- Experience with SAP and/or other HR/Payroll systems a plus
