Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a motivated professionals to join our team as a full-time Member Service Representative at our Seymour, Indiana location.
The minimum starting wage for this opportunity is $20.64 per hour.
The Member Service Representative is responsible for meeting and servicing the financial needs of Members through processing account and service transactions; new account openings and account maintenance requests; loan interviews and closings; educating and referring additional Credit Union products and services based upon Member needs; and maintaining the branch in a safe and sound manner in compliance with policy and procedure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Completes process for new deposit account openings and recommends additional services based on Member needs.
- Interacts with Members focusing on Member engagement in providing education and referrals of Centra products and services.
- Completes loan interview and closing based on Member needs.
- Participates in branch telephonic outbound calling program to build Member relationships through value added promotion of additional products and services.
- Performs routine and high impact Member account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances, loan payments, check cashing, sale of negotiable instruments, and cash exchanges. Periodically required to operate a teller drawer at the teller line based on branch scope, Team Member headcount, market opportunities and branch life cycle.
- Develops and sustains detailed knowledge on consumer deposit and loan products and services to assist Members.
- Maintains knowledge and awareness of lending products, branch operations and new account procedures and policies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED):
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
