What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at CentraCare?
Find your purpose providing nourishment to patients, and fuel to those who care for them by working as a cook at our Paynesville Hospital.
Our cooks prepare food for hospital patients, guests, employees, and catered functions according to standardized recipes and established policies and procedures. Cooks also clean dishes, food prep surfaces and the rest of the kitchen to ensure food safety guidelines are met.
- Schedule
- Part-time | 32-56 hours every two weeks | Paynesville Hospital
- 8-hour shifts | 6am - 2:30pm, 7am – 3:30pm and 10:30am - 7pm
- Every other weekend | Rotating holidays

- Qualifications
- Food Safety Training required within 1 ½ years
