Job Summary:
Responsible for the enterprise vision, strategy, and leadership of the nutrition services operations across the CentraCare enterprise. Areas of responsibilities include safety program leadership, patient experience/hospitality leadership, inpatient patient dining, retail dining services, catering programs and long term care food services. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
This is a Full-Time (80hrs/pp) position overseeing the operation of the Nutrition Services team with day shift hours Monday-Friday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
What you'll do:
- Responsible for the strategy and vision for CentraCare's nutrition services management across the enterprise.
- Directs the global implementation of enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives at all CentraCare locations.
- Leads the Nutrition Services department in a collaborative and cooperative working relationships with all CentraCare enterprise staff, departments and physicians. Establishes and maintains positive communication with all internal and external customers.
- Develops and monitors departmental capital and operating budgets. Accountable for budget compliance, monitoring and exception reporting for areas of responsibility and implementing annual operating plan for the department, as well as purchases for the next fiscal year.
- Establishes and maintains policies and procedures, quality standards, performance improvements in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends and implements industry best practices.
- Enhances communications between leadership and staff providing ongoing feedback on enterprise-wide and department goals and objectives. Provides and open environment with a range of mechanisms for staff to voice concerns, give feedback or make suggestions.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Business, or related field required.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of direct food service operational management experience required.
- ServSafe Certified or ability to obtain required
- Certified Dietary Manager CDM or ability to obtain Required
