Psychotherapist | Eating Disorders | Bariatric Surgery | Weight Management

$6,000 hiring bonus for those hired into a Psychotherapist role!

Eating disorders are serious conditions related to persistent eating behaviors that negatively impact a patient’s health, emotions, and ability to function in important areas of life.  The expanded eating disorder service at CentraCare provides evidence-based treatment from medical, psychological, nursing, and nutritional specialists providing outpatient services and inpatient consultations.  

Be part of the program to work across the span, to include eating disorders, bariatric surgery, and weight management.

Be part of our Behavioral Health Team providing diagnostic assessment and treatment services for patients with eating disorders. New Partial Hospitalization Program in development.

• Work collaboratively with psychologists and psychotherapists, physicians & APPs, dietitians, and nursing in a “Team Based Care Model”
• Provide diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and execute therapeutic treatment toward defined goals.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy interventions in our outpatient services.
• Opportunity for bariatric pre-surgical assessments and inpatient consultations.
• May be part of staff and program development.

QUALIFICATIONS
 

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field required.
• Minimum of one-year experience is required.
• State of Minnesota licensure required, need to have one of the following:   
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP) with the MN Board of Psychology or 
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with the MN Board of Social Work or 
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the MN Board of Marriage & Family Therapy or
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with the MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy. 

Successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Initial and On-going Training (or equivalent) provided.
