What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician position at Central ABA Services?
Behavior Technician
Hours: 6am- 8am Monday-Friday with optional hours available on Sundays
12 year old female client that requires support with ADLs before school.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Assist with training and coaching caregivers on behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records
Skills:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral therapy setting
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
